If colonialism historical and conceptual framework is broadened too far, everyone at one point was/is the coloniser, colonised, and post colonial e. g. australia. Definition of post colonialism offered by the empire writes back: post colonialism covers all the culture affected by the imperial process from the moment of colonisation to the present day. This is because there is a continuity of preoccupations throughout the historical process initiated by europeans imperial aggression.
