The debate between two very diverse viewpoints the creation theory and the theory of evolution has raised an incessant amount of controversy and speculation for many centuries. Although evolution is considered to be merely a theory, it is a theory that is based on scientific evidence which is continuously being reviewed and refined. Ignorance, is not knowledge, therefore ignorance is applicable to the creation theory. The author of core questions in philosophy , william sober, is in favor of the evolution theory and supports the scientific evidence which exists in support of it. The evidence is derived from prehistoric fossils, genetic similarities known as homologies and the distribution of time and space. Creationism is merely a belief that uses blind faith to triumph over science. Fossils are the most vital evidence of the evolution theory, accumulating for millions of years all over the world.
