Document Summary

I f god were to exist, then that being would be all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good. (all-pkg, for short) If an all-pkg being existed, then there would be no evil: there is evil. If god is all-good, he would want to prevent evil. If he is all-knowing, he knows the diference between right and wrong and know how to prevent evil from coming into existence. If he is all powerful, he can prevent evil. Two kinds of evil: evils that are brought into existence by human acions, evils that exists because of natural events that aren"t under human control. e. g. earthquakes and plagues. There is no diference between right and wrong. This is the idea that the universe is morally neutral and that we human beings impose illusory moral categories upon it. Assume that murders, tortures, and other brutaliies are morally bad and sufering caused by natural disasters is evil.
