Document Summary

The legal battle between the rights to decide fate. People need to be more informed with moral reasoning to justify the realities. To clarify, euthanasia is directly or indirectly bringing the death of a person for their sake. Seat is usually considered evil but some may think it(cid:495)s a blessing for sparing someone from painful death or vegetative sleep. The 2 forms of euthanasia are active and passive. Active euthanasia is an action that directly causes someone to die. "mercy killing" or lethal injection to end suffering. Some people say deliberately killing people is always wrong. Passive euthanasia is allowing someone to die by not doing something to prolong life. For example removing the feeding tube or not doing surgery or not giving antibiotics. This is legal and is endorsed by professionals. Some even argue that there is no morally significant difference between the two. Because in both situations the doctor is causing the patient(cid:495)s death.
