Document Summary

Clones in the sense used by biologist, are genetically identical entities, whether cells, dna molecules, plants, animals or humans. Cloning is the asexual production of a genetically identical entity from an existing one. All the cells if a clue contain the same blue print as all the cells of the clones originator. An animal or human clone is not a perfect copy of an individual but a living thing that shares a set of genetic instructions with another. Scientist often clone fragments of dna for study. Among animals and humans clones appear naturally in the form of identical twins individuals with identical sets of dna. Scientists have managed to duplicate this process in a form of cloning known as twinning o. Through in vitro fertilization, they produce an embryo and when it consists of two- four identical cells, they separate them and let them grow into discrete but genetically identical organisms.
