Psychology is a discipline: allows study of behaviour (including perceptions, thoughts and emotions), and employ scientific method to work. General principles or explanations of some aspect of the world. Theories are built from hypothesis that are repeatedly tested and confirmed theories must be falsifiable. Biopsychsocial model: means of explaining behaviour as a product of biological, psychological, and socio- cultural factors.
