Intelligence quotient (iq) = calculated by taking a person"s mental age, dividing it by his chronological age, and then multiplying by 100. 100 becomes the standard iq for the average child . Iq scores remain constant after age 16: deviation iq = calculated by comparing the persons test score with the average score for people of the same age. Advantage: because they are calculated relative to others of the same age. Argued that human intelligence is a strong predictor of many different personal and social outcomes, such as workplace performance, income, and the likelihood of being involved in criminal activities. Also argued that those of high intelligence were reproducing less than those of low intelligence, leading to a dangerous population trend in the us. Argued that a healthy society would be a meritocracy, in which people who has the most ability and worked that hardest would receive the most wealth, power and status.
