Allows for exchange of oxygen and nutrients, removal of waste: fetal (8 weeks-birth) Sex organs appear in third month: the effects of language deprivation during infancy and childhood can be irreversible. This fact is best explained by sensitive period: a research only has a year to complete a study on a topic that spans the entire range of childhood. To complete the study she should use a cross-sectional design: a difference in genes between people is a factor that would be least likely to be a cohort effect. 7-8 months (prenatal) can hear and actively listen. 6 months or more reach 20/20 vision.
