Students who joined clubs on their first year had higher extraversion placed great importance on partying and having fun. College students who decide to join a fraternity or sorority differ in meaningful ways from other students according to the research. Personality traits, to the self, differences existed b4 the students actually joined a greek organization. Self-concept clarity = how clear and certain a person is about who he is or she is. High self-concept clear + confident self-descriptions interest in joining a fraternity. Interest = positive attitude toward joining a greek organization.
