Behavioural strategies have also been developed for helping communities prevent youth violence. Behaviour modification applications in classrooms have progressed on several fronts. Out-of-seat behaviour, tantrums, aggressive behaviour, and excessive socializing have all been successfully dealt with in classroom settings. Other behavioural applications in schools have involved modifying academic behaviour directly, including oral reading, reading comprehension, composition, spelling, handwriting etc.
