Stimulus control degree of correlations between occurrence of particular antecedent stimulus and occurrence of a subsequent response; good: when stimulus occurs, response is likely to follow. Other stimuli consistent predictors that particular behaviour will not be reinforced. Discriminative stimulus (sd) stimulus in the presence of which a response will be reinforced. Discriminative stimulus for availability of reinforcement for responding (s ): stimulus in presence of which a response will not be reinforced. Discriminative stimulus for the non-availability of reinforcement for responding (extinction)
