Using extinction to decrease a problem behavior: collecting data to assess treatment effects. You must record the prblm behavior before and after the use of the extinction procedure to determine whether the behavior decreased when extinction was implemented. Identify the specific reinforcer for the prblm behavior so tht you can eliminate it in an extinction procedure. There can be more than reinforcer by different people: eliminating the reinforcer after each instance of the problem behavior.
