TONE HEIGHT AND TONE CHROMA
Musical pitch is characteristic of musical notes
Octave: interval btw two freq is 2:1
oi.e. can be divided or multiplied by 2
oe.g. middle C 261.6 Hz so C3 is 130.8 Hz
is one octave apart in this case
ooctaves sound more similar to each other than close freqs
western music uses equal temperament to make combos of notes sound good by
altering simple ratio of octaves
musical pitch dimensions:
otone height: sound quality corresponding to level of pitch
otone chroma: sound quality shared by tones w/ same octave interval
music pitch is like helix
otone height , tone chroma w/ octaves 
oall sounds w/ same letter have same chroma and are separated by octaves
