Posterior, subcortical, and diffuse damage mimics damage through frontal systems disconnection. Supervisory attention system thought and action are controlled by processing mechanisms in routine versus novel situations. Action : controlled by schemas automated programs of achieving relevant goal states initiated by environmental triggers.
