Socioemotional network is sensitive to social and emotional stimuli and is remodeled in early adolescence by hormonal changes of puberty; cognitive network matures gradually independent of puberty: coercion developmental theory: Poor parental monitoring of child activities, disruptive family transitions, inconsistent parental discipline are psychosocial contributors to early- onset delinquency; family environment. Social learning theory- developmental trajectories for antisocial behaviour are initiated, maintained and diversified as a result of cumulative daily social experiences with people that are highly aversive, inconsistent and unsupportive.
