Passive aggressive behaviours: interpreted as aggressive in intent, although the beh is passive and indirect. Many varieties of human aggression tried to classify them based on the apparent motivation of the aggressor its hard to compartmentalize human aggressive beh. Physical refusing to perform a necessary task. Hostile: in response to anger-inducing conditions (real/perceived insults, attacks, ones own failures) Aggressors goal is to make a victim suffer. Beh is intense and disorganizing emotion of anger: anger arousal state elicited by certain stimuli, esp those evoking attack/frustration. Instrumental: competition or the desire for some object/status possessed by another person (jewelry, money, territory) try to obtain it regardless of the cost. Usually, there is no intent to harm anyone: but, if someone/thing interferes w their objective, they may feel forced to harm the victim. Aggression: beh perpetrated/attempted w the intention of harming one or more indivs physically/psychologically or to destroy an object. Psychological harm intimidation, threats, stalking (no physical force)
