Race: a group of people who were physically and genetically distinguished from other grou. These differences were evident in skin colour, hair texture, and facial features. European populations were white (caucasoid) and people from africa were black from asia were generally yellow (monogoloid) Assignment of people to racial categories is a function of social construction.
