Document Summary

Visualizing the cell, light microscope is a type of instrument that is being used for magnifying small objects that are not visible to human eyes, by using the simple light with magnifying lenses. Light microscope is fundamental instrument for cell biology and used to see the cells of organisms by magnifying them. Single cell organisms can be identified under light microscope (figure9. 1). Light microscope has ability to visualize the bacterial cells that are almost 10-20 m, that are the larger ones. Figure9. 1: light microscopy of bacteria showing single cell organisms: electron microscope is an instrument to see very tiny particles that are even difficult to see via focal or light microscope. Electron microscope has greater resolution power than light microscope and provides us with very fine view of objects under study. Figure 9. 2: electrone microscope: units of length are used to describe the measurement of the object. Here in microscopy measurement units of length are derived.
