When teachers discuss academic results with students and the potential of credit recovery, the message is often misconstrued and it is believed that recovery of these credits is a fait accompli. In the past we were able to offer credit recovery during semester 2 for students who failed, but were eligible for credit recovery. Due to scheduling issues this year, we are not able to offer. Students who earned a mark between 35-49% in a core subject are eligible to sign up for remedial summer school. Information regarding summer programming will be available on the tdsb website in may and students should make appointments with their guidance counsellor in this regard from may 15th onwards. At time of writing 174 students have submitted their online course selections.
