Human pressures on the planet are at risk of triggering abrupt and irreversible changes with potentially catastrophic outcomes for human societies and other life forms. Nature does not tell stories, we do **we need a new story (invitation to awe, new way of seeing and being) Scientists considering calling our time anthropocene - (human activity that is responsible for significantly altering the earth) There isn"t a place on earth where humans haven"t made a mark. Global realities stir deep emotions within us (we only have ourselves to blame) We need to develop a love, respect and admiration for the biotic community citizens of the entire universe . Natural world becomes a communion of subjects rather than a collection of objects to bought, sold and discarded.
