Participation- the sense of feeling involved in group and being legitimized. Lifeworld as the most likely setting for this to happen and that systems need to evolve towards lifeworld environment. Funky dragon welsh children and young peoples assembly. Want voices and opinions heard and to be involved with decision making at local level. Funky dragon is a way of making local organizations listen to children. Honneth- the model invites us to look at children not only as recipients if care of affection but also as givers. Children will remain second class citizens until the idea of human rights is rethought in the light of childhoods. Bottom up = participation rights adults should strive to be more like children.
