How can we describe what employees are like: use personality traits and cultural values. Research showed that employees working in different countries tended to prioritize different values and those values clustered into several distinct dimensions. Summary: how can we describe what employees are like: big five dimensions: conscientiousness, agreeableness, neuroticism, openness to experience, extraversion, beyond personality, what employees are like also depend on the culture in which they were raised. However, differences due to the environment become less apparent as ppl get older e. g. family, education, choice of occupation, biological factors: abilities can be grouped into three general categories: cognitive, emotional, and physical. Conscientiousness and neuroticism: wonderlic personnel test- a 12 minute test of general cognitive ability used to hire job applicants.
