Important in order to batain infor about the body structure and function. This ystem consists of bone, joints, and muscles which provide support for the body and allow for movement. Form a framework; supports and portoects organs and tissues. Rbc and act as so=torafe for essential minerals. A location where two or more bones articulate, allowing movement. Joints which can freely move are synovial joints. Cartilage covers the end of bones to provide a cushion during movement. Ligaments attach one bone to another and provide support. Made up of bundles of muscle fibers or fascicule that allow movement when stimulated by an ap. Muscles are attached to bone by tendons; a strong cord of fibers. Bursae are located in spots to reduce friction whih allows for smooth movement. If yes, do you have difficulty with: bathing, toileting, dressing, grroming, eating, mobility, communicating. Posture: with client standing, inspect for alignment of head and shoulders.
