People were beginning to wonder if it complied with the human rights legislation. They couldnt prevent people from gambling just because other people think that there is a better use of their time. They gamble for trivial prizes & stakes. Children may develop a gambling problem later in life. Outdated views, in the same realm as masturbating, homosexuality, and even dancing on sundays. Dont interfere unless you can show harm to third parties. Gambling roots out of good habits and plants in their stead so many bad ones. The uk law was changed to enable more firms of gambling.
