Learning: is a process by which experience produces a relatively enduring change in an organism"s behavior or capabilities. Learning makes it possible to adapt to different challenges that individuals face. Habituation: a decrease in the strength of response to a repeated stimulus (it may be the simplest form of learning and occurs across species. If an organism responded to every stimulus in its environment, it would rapidly become overwhelmed and exhausted. By learning not to respond to uneventful familiar stimulus, organisms conserve energy and can attend to other stimulus that are important.
