Psychological disorder: a psychological dysfunction within an individual that is associated with dishes or impairment in functioning and a response that is not typical or culturally expected. This refers to a breakdown in cognitive, emotional, or behaviour functioning like you react in a weird way. Sometimes dif cult to gure out where to draw the line on whether the response is normal or abnormal. They have to be upset, and have distress with the behaviour. It is normal to be distressed in certain situations but there are also situations where there should be distress where a person who has a disorder doesn"t experience the distress they should. The distress kind of has to have a impairing affect. Some people who are abnormal could be considered eccentric. But certain behaviours are so far fetched that it is past eccentric.
