Social diversion - adolescents that receives reaction from adults, not illegal for example purple hair or phone sex! Social deviation - stigmatized but not illegal acts, for example mental illness! Labelling theorists - believe that publicity recognizing somebody as criminal or deviant is an important cause in itself of criminal or deviant behaviour!
