Business communications include oral, nonverbal and written forms of communication to reach both internal and external audiences. Internal audiences are people in the same organization. External audiences are people outside the organization: customers, suppliers, unions, stockholders, potential employees,government agencies, the press and the public. Social media has served to increase the amount and the accountability for all business communication. Effective listening, reading, speaking interpersonal and writing skills are vital. Listen to others to find out what you are supposed to do, to learn about the organization"s culture and values, and to establish and maintain work relationships.
