Hard drive the main storage for your data; this is normally permanently mounted within your computer. Drive bays hold components of the computer such as hard drives, cd and dvd roms drives. Internal cannot be seen/accessed; reserved for internal hard drives. External can be seen/accessed; house dvd. Ports used to connect external hardware to your computer and blu-ray drives. Thunderbolt ports can allow you to connect up to 6 different peripherals to your computer.
