1964 franklin henry tried to redeem pe. In 1989 kinesiology as a term was approved and was no longer called pe. In greek means the story of account of movement . If it were more like chemistry it would be more respectable. Knowledge found could be applied to sports and physical activity. Pe programs had been marginalized by the academy. People who cared about study of movement in university were seen as non- or -anti- intellectual. People believe it to be just a gym class . But now needs to be focused on as humanistic. In order to progress ly as john charles believes, kin needs a better integration. It needs to focus on the humanities of movement and the experience. Sciences are important and they have been neglected. They form generalizations in descriptions and relation. We place them in laws of natural and common descriptions. Humans are seen to be a set of causes and are therefore not unique.
