Group dynamics: gaining knowledge about nature of groups and their development and on understanding the interrelationships between groups and individuals, other groups and larger institutions. Is a large part of social psychology. Assembly a ect: variations in group behaviour that are a result of the particular combinations of individuals in the group. There is a di erence between a group and a collection of individuals. One of the key group processes involved with team e ectiveness is communication. To increase communication, socialize more as a team and promote cooperation. Decision making is also a large factor that either makes or breaks team dynamic. Majority rule: a rule of decision-making in groups based on the principles of equal participation and equal power for all members. Groupthink: a mode of thinking that people engage in when the members of a cohesive group so strongly desired unanimous decisions that this overrides their motivation to realistically evaluate other possible options.
