Conflict theory competitive interaction seek gain most (socially/emotionally/economically) while giving up least. Greater inequality greater change of conflict breakdown in interaction. People act ways consider fair/just even doesn"t maximize personal gain. Behave fairly/altruistically interacting based norms learned. Norms act justly and help need even if costs a lot.
