Many new theories have emerged which showed white feminists that their view was unaccommodating. Regardless of theory, you must be able to articulate a way to address injustice in action so a more just society emerges. We tend to ignore the power of language. Theory is a tool to understand how gender, race, class and sexuality all intersect. To examine this intersection, we need to look at language and its function and why some words are used in reference to women but lack the same meaning when applied to men. Seeks to break down any and all places where oppression exists. Understanding the role of oppression is unending and takes all different types of theorists. How gender and race are being defined to maintain unjust structures. Labour of one group is used to increase the wealth and authority of another group.
