Caste system was founded on basis of religion. Caste as a system of exclusion & exploitation. Class is affe(cid:272)ted (cid:271)y o(cid:374)e"s e(cid:272)o(cid:374)o(cid:373)i(cid:272) status. There are 2 examples of caste inequalities present (among others) Inequality of outcome: discrimination as a result. One cannot control the situation they were born into. These lead to i(cid:374)e(cid:395)ualities i(cid:374) (cid:862)la(cid:374)d, edu(cid:272)atio(cid:374), (cid:271)usi(cid:374)ess o(cid:449)(cid:374)e(cid:396)ship & o(cid:272)(cid:272)upatio(cid:374)(cid:863) A lot of land went to people who had been share-croppers. These people had been part of the middle caste. Artisans had to rely on manual labour.
