On the other hand, the common stereotypes of women portrayed in media includes gentle, emotional, and supportive to the men around them. The violence against women by men in media is normalized and may contribute to the real abuse of women committed by men today. However, there are some films or literary work that portrays the opposite of the ideal woman or man.
