Low back pain: leading cause of work leave and back pain increases with age. Occupation related msk disorders: related to mechanical overload, exposure, posture, accidents which can be caused by cold environments or vibration exposure, potential for injury increases with increased stress on back. Vibration and cold contribute to this because causes for numb feeling which doesn"t let you know when pain is occurring: types: carpal tunnel syndrome, back pain, hernia, tendonitis, or any joint pain. Osteoarthritis: two main types: rheumatoid, and osteoarthritis (most common, osteoarthritis caused by wearing down of protective cartilage on the ends of the bones and best way to prevent it is weight loss, physical activity and protecting joints. Related to family history, overweight, overuse, or injuries: pain worse after exercise, may swelling, cracking, or grating sounds, most common in knee and hip.
