Document Summary
Working memory capacity is different, diverse, assorted, and wide-ranging. It is dependent on a vast variety of factors including age and multitasking skills. Children and older adults have less working memory capacity. On the other hand, the work memory capacity of young adults is better. The working memory capacity of young adults has more space for memory. This means that young adults can effortlessly multitask with ease. However just because young adults have the ability to multitask, that does not mean that that should be be an option because of a lack of concentration. When you are multitasking and doing multiple things simultaneously, you may think you are being productive and/or effective/efficient however you are not being focused and paying your full attention to each task you are completing. Doing so many things at once is just distraction after distraction. This means that when all of these are being done at once, it"s not done properly.
