The theoretical framework that i have chosen to guide my discussion on poverty is. Sociological imagination is the ability of an individual to understand a person situation / trouble in a wider perspective by looking at the external environment as well rather than just the internal circumstance. We use our sociological imagination in the context of constructing an understanding of, or knowledge about human experience as seen in a larger context. It isn"t uncommon for individuals to assume that a position they are holding is a person trouble however they are infarct wrong. Therefore in summary sociological imagination is when you try to understand connections between and individuals experience and a larger social structure . in this case we are looking at poverty. Poverty is in fact not a personal trouble but indeed caused by other social structures such as economic reasons and by the government. Cavitations in all across the world in developed and undeveloped counties are facing it.
