The topic that i have chosen to discuss in my essay is the profession of teaching and it"s down falls. At a young age i was exposed to an incredible teacher who strived to make students like me, confident and knowledgeable. This inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. However at this stage there has been a decreasing demand for teachers in ontario, higher qualifications and changes in teacher"s union. To approach this essay i will discuss the factors that led me to this career along with my experience volunteering/ working with children. Becoming a teacher educator: evidence from the field. This site focuses on certain challenges a new teacher may encounter when changing their profession from a lower level to a higher level. This article also touches on the challenges that teachers face in making an identity for themselves in their professional career.
