Hydrogen, iron, or lead: cannot be broken down into simpler substances, molecule: two or more atoms, held together by chemical compounds, compound: a substance composed of a fixed ratio of two or more elements. Form of kinetic energy: radiant energy: the energy of electromagnetic radiation.
