Xx san wa nansai desuka = how old is mr. xx? if it is obvious who the listener is, mr. xx can be omitted. Denwa bangoo wa nan desu ka = what is your telephone number? . The answer is denwa bangoo wa ###-###-#### desu . Ima nanji desuka = what time is it? answer with the time, ichi ji desu (it"s one o"clock). ~ji is added after a number to refer to time.
