We can recognize that individuals are fundamentally different, and that their personalities have a lot of say in this. We all want to know about personality scientifically credible answers are provided by psychologists in the field of personality psychology. Questions asked by personality psychologists are very similar to the questions we ask ourselves every day but the difference lies in the way the answers are sought. Us: we get answers by asking ourselves, watching movies and plays, social media, etc. Psychologists: they get answers through scientific research. To develop a scientific theory, psychologists must pursue 5 goals that involve both theory and evidence. Theory: ideas used to understand people, their development, and differences among them. Evidence: scientific observations that become the database for the theory.
