Ptsd takes time to diagnose have to suffer with symptoms for at least one month. Women are twice as likely to suffer as men. New research on the root of the causes of ptsd and how to combat it. But not just a psychological problem it is a serious brain condition. For example, unable to turn off fear extinction, suppression of cortisol, reductions in the size of the hippocampus (memory), etc.
