Wms individuals on word-fluency test score similarly to neurotypical individual but use atypical examples (strong short-term memory for speech sounds or phonological wm - relevant to language learning and comprehension) Heightened ability to use linguistic skills to engage others socially - strong impulse toward social contact. Expressive language used effectively (and sometimes effusively) in social situations. Much more errors in use of spatial prepositions and in use of language about space. Lack of global organization/cohesion more acute than local.
