History tells of the honor of being human: philosophy is an art of becoming honest. Philosophy loves the problematic and we are problematic: philosophy is the critical discipline for testing what has been accepted. One cannot master all the skills of the field and get nothing more out of it, for the field is open to creative renovation: we can always make more of ourselves, and the humanities show us how.
