In some cases we are led morally astray by true friendship"s demands on us: relationships of this kind (true friendships) are valuable in own right, trying 2 locate value of friendship w/in moral framework = misguided. Common philosophical picture of friendship: the highly moralized account, moral value of friendship, friendship = vehicle for moral development, have to contrib to other"s moral dev or else not true friends.
