Debate now is what can be done about the inequality and its origin: some want government to sustain the middle class and uplift the poor, some want government to do less. Balanced budgets, lower taxes, few domestic programs, minimal welfare. Would energize economy and help middle class. Causes of middle class crisis: government less solution: less government.
