Delusions of control the belief that one is being controlled by others through such means as radar or tiny radio receives implanted in one"s brain. Hallucinations: perceptions of stimuli that are not actually present. Many candidate genes appear to increase the likelihood of schizophrenia. Disc1 (disrupted in schizophrenia 1) = increases the likelihood of schizophrenia.
