Because of the priesthood the gospel is spreading and always growing through sacred ordinances (via. Teaching #2: if ye are not one, ye are not mine. this is one of the most important ways to fulfill god"s plan and to one day become gods ourselves. It is the pre- requisite like most of these scriptural truths.
