Conception + birth = legend --- six-tusked elephant impregnated mother. Renounced his comfortable life at age 29 search for solution to human suffering. 6 years of meditation attained enlightenment became (cid:1445)the enlightened one(cid:1446) Taught that enlightenment can be reached thru realization four noble truths. Freedom from suffering is the end of desire.
